PNE's strongest line-up?

PNE's strongest line-up?

After all the new signings and emergency loans, whats PNE's strongest formation and lineup?

I would say:

----------------------LONERGAN---------------------

JONES--------MAWENE------ST LEDGER-----DAVIDSON

PARRY--------JAMES--------COUTTS--------WALLACE

---------------WELBECK------PARKIN-----------------

I don't rate Jones highly enough to play him with someone who's not defensively capable. I thought Jones was the worst player on the pitch for us last night, and he's not lived up to his reputation.

So from that I'd go with:
Lonergan
Hart Mawene St Ledger Davidson
Parry/Treacy/Sedgwick James Coutts Wallace
Parkin Welbeck

I've been saying since Welbeck's arrival that Parkin is the ideal partner for him and us. Last night went some way to proving me right. I've not seen Treacy or Parry enough to give them a fair assessment.

Hart is a terrible right back and not fit to lace jones boots in that position.......jones does make a terrible midfielder though...for me
Lonnergan
jones youl sledge davidson
parry chaplow (when motivated and fit) coutts wallace
Welbeck Parkin

subs james mellor collins treacy henderson Brown Nolan

Chaplow when motivated and fit is about once a month if we're lucky. James beats him hands down. I used to be a fan of Chappers but this season i've been hugely disappointed with him, a real let down just like Carter.

In fairness to Chaplow, hes been spot on defensively. However, I agree poor overall especially in attack

Hart is an excellent footballer. You are talking out of your ring surely????😱

Hart is an excellent defender, but is completely clueless when it comes to attacking. Slow to react, no vision, one dimensional, predictable, horrible passing, worse crossing, bad movement and poor communication.

Me and a mate were saying, as soon as he crosses the half way line, it's as if he has all his talent sucked out of him, ala Space Jam.

Must watch a different game to you then. I always thought he never closed a man down and backed out of winnable tackles. Allowing forwards to have space and attack our defenders to score long range goals. Teams have been using it to great effect Vs us because nobody closes down their players.

Anyway I think:

Lonergan
Jones Youl Ledge Davidson
Parry James Coutts Wallace
Welbeck Parkin

subs Henderson Collins Nolan Miller Sedgwick Proctor Mellor

----------------------LONERGAN---------------------

JONES--------NOLAN------ST LEDGER-----DAVIDSON

SEGGERS--------JAMES--------COUTTS--------WALLACE

---------------WELBECK------PARKIN-----------------

Subs: Henderson, Mawene, Hart, Chaplow, Parry, Mellor, Brown.

----------------------LONERGAN---------------------

JONES--------NOLAN------ST LEDGER-----DAVIDSON

SEGGERS--------JAMES--------COUTTS--------WALLACE

---------------WELBECK------PARKIN-----------------

Anybody who picks Nolan obviously has not got a clue!!

in all honesty, I think hes an awful defender, with his "attacking" play being what hes better at.

Funny isnt it.

bang on the money for me. although swapping Mawene for Collins went through my mind. Collins looks resonably sturdy next to StLedger.
