I, for one, think a 'well done' is in order for what them from the sea have a acheived.

I also think the bigger picture is, what 'WE' haven't acheived over the last X amount of years. And, the ignorance shown to the followers of our once Proud Club, Preston North End. The powers that be at Club level are treating the fans like mushrooms, once again - how long can we Keep the Faith? Maybe, I will be eating humble in the next few days, but I'm not holding my breath, again. Only every one should get over their bitterness over yesterday & worry what's going on, on our own door-step.

Today, I'm one piss-off North Ender, again!

Whilst I agree with the message, I just can't bring myself to say/post it.

I agree even though it does hurt me to say that. What Blackpool have done is a massive achievement and something that Preston haven't been able to do. Maybe it could be a blessing in disguise and that it could give our club a kick up the arse to achieve the same. The thing is I'm not holding my breath..

I think 'if' you're ever in the Unicorn before a match, or after, we could have a chat over matters going on at Club level or for being a fan that follows their team through thick & thin?

The blackpool love in continues, all the well done's to our supposed rivals is quite frankly embarrasing.

If it were any other small team (in terms of some in this division) who was playing at Wembley yesterday, say if Scunny had come up and within three seasons pushed on to the prem, I'd have been well pleased. If anyone else with a limited budget had achieved this, by dint of making one or two shrewd signings and melding a side greater than the sum of it's parts with sheer determination and togetherness, I'd have said it was a good day for football.

If anyone else showed that team spirit and willingness to play for one another can achieve great things, where giant budgets and a 'big club' sense of entitlement had failed, I'd have said it should be inspiration for all of who struggle to compete with the inequities of football, and we should take heart and applaud the victory. I'd have said it's a victory for the little guy, and we're one of the little guys, so good on 'em.

So I'm going to have a go at leaving petty parochial rivalries aside, and give a sincere 'well done' to Blackpool, enjoy next season, despite the inevitable tonkings. I'd rather be there getting hammered every week than here just middling along.

😱 We must be the only club that wish our RIVALS well. Everyone should go on the Blackpool forums were they are currently pissing there sides over us spiralling into huge debt. 😡
