A message to the FOPNE!

F

Former user.

For the first time I can remember the tide seems to turned against our chairman.

I have had enough of this, "There is no-one else" bulshit, there is ALWAYS someone else, the FOPNE have been mugging us off for years, and I'm really quite bloody angry about it.

Derek, do yourself a favour, keep your pride, the last thing we need when we have 9,000 on against Swindon on the first game of the season, are protests.

We need unity, if you love this club as much as you say, then give up your shares, or sell them at real value, and forget getting yourmoney back.

Hemmings is as pissed off as much as we are, and if we are not careful he will walk away AGAIN.

Burnley winning promotion was a wake up call. The Lashers winning promotion should hurt you as much as us, and so do the honerable thing and step down.

If you really are "Friends of Preston North End" then you will give you shares up to Guild Ventures, and then we might actually be able to make so progress.

Your assuming Mr Hemmings wants them....

Just a small point....

Mr Hemmings Has been involved with the club for a loooonnnnnggggggg time he was involved when we went into administration and was once an actual paper Billionaire, less than 4 years ago, He didn't bank roll then he won't bank roll now.

Mr Hemmings is not the savior... Remember when the Salya's wanted to do a Pro Rata investment to Take PNE into the Premier League... Look what happened.

Head, Cloud REMOVE.

I still dont understand how Shaws sharehlding is holding anything back? it doesnt mean he has to be chairman, and with unallocated shares floating around, if Hemmings wanted to get a takeover going it really wouldnt be that difficult for him to get the 0.3% (or whatever the figure is) he needs before hes obliged to make an offer to everyone.

Just seems a bit of a red herring to me.

The way I see it, and im not a fan of defender of shaws tenure or his management style (both have been absolutely shown up as inadequate over the past couple of seasons IMO), but if Hemmings wasnt happy with Shaw as chairman, he wouldnt be chairman. Particularly when the fans perception of Shaw has never been exactly glowing.

FoPNE will have to pay the mortgage to BoI off before they can do anything with their shares.😱

The unallocated shares cannot be sold without the premssion of existing shareholders. The board have permssion to sell further shares but these would not be enough to allow Guild Ventures to take control.

Launching a takeover by going over the 30% margin would be expensive and not necessarily successful. It would also mean paying for shares which are effectively worthless.

So in other words, the plc owes just over 13 million to Guild Ventures, which the club do not have, so if Mr Hemmings was to re-call that debt, the FOPNE could give over their shares in the Company giving him over all control without having to fund a take over bid?

Is that right Nigel?

I could not see it any other way, Maybe wrong?, Good point
