But he made it obvious he did not wany to play for this club anymore. What do you think that all picking up bookings for gobbing off was about.

Grezza, Thompson, Carlisle, Pato and Jensen all signed new contracts.

Said elsewhere, can only see it being players on the periphery which points to Easton, Edgar, Eckersley or even possibly McDonald at a push.

Contracts generally don't mean anything but I think the exception can generally be made when said players are a matter of weeks into the new contract.

Not heard good things about his attitude. Drinking, smoking etc?
 
Why should having signed a new contract hinder a player being transferred if it is a good deal for all 3 parties?
 
No last year of contract I believe but Coyle is keen on him.

As for McDonald, not sure he smokes but he made a well publicised and monumental cock up during half time against Man City. Family and friends came down for the weekend complete with Claret shirts and kilts. Typhoon-like conditions and an abject display saw them leave for a local pub early doors.

McDonald was subbed at half time and when to meet them in said pub. Not believed to have had a drink and was ordered back to the Turf by his Dad.

I have to say that I'm pretty pissed off with Wallace going but if Elliott was coming here then it would soften the blow a little.
