Although i would swap the new player you have up front for a holding midfielder to enable jones and de laet to get forward at will.

TBF if we hold out for Welbeck, who is apparently Ferguson's first choice striker target, he would be the perfect player. Fast and could adapt to a formation like this with Hayes providing for him. If it doesn't come off then there's a few League Two players who would fit the bill at the right price!

However I did hear the same rumour as you tonight that he is off to Blackpool so no smoke without fire etc.
 
Bit disappointed about Wallace leaving.
He was a player who at least played like he gave a shit.
A shit about what I don't know, but still it elevates him above most of the dullard robot footbastards that knock about these days
