i thought he did an admirable job at LB. hes got a good left foot, even though he clearly wasnt comfortable using it.

I think you are right though, LB was never going to be his position long term. shocking decision to regard him as our sole back up LB.

What a fucking blind idiot you are. When Hart had a good game he was only as good as an average Billy Jones. Jones was poor by his standards last season for me. But he is still a far better option than Hart. He simply is not good enough. Your argument about signing Peterboro players is laughable when you look at Paul Coutts who i think will turn out to be 1 of the best signings we have made in years. Leicster reject? Did you go to the game against Leicster at Deepdale? Obvioulsy not.

How you can come on here and defend irvine when we have 8 players on the transfer list taking about £50k a week out of our club? Most signed by your hero irvine. Not to mention the absolute disaster that was Velice Shumilikoski. He alone cost us over a million pound altogether and returned absolutely fuck all. Fuck off to Hillsborough you stupid cunt.

Nolan was terrible in "both" semis regardless of the tactics. When he was man marking Cotterill, he made Cotterill look world class. Also, last season he was dire for us and, as I said previously, he can't have impressed at SW; otherwise AI would have shown interest in acquiring him.

id say, like shumi, it has a lot to do with him being a bit shit to be honest with you.

i mean, even a good manager with a proven track record like Irvine couldnt get them playing to a decent standard. A shit one like Ferguson had to look for better.
 
Pleased with these signings... hopefully this is the start and a couple more will walk throught the deepdale doors in coming weeks. Wayne Browns record speaks for itself at this level and Morgan can't be too bad if hes a regular at international level.

As for the signings, I'm quite happy with both. We are a very 'quiet' team and a few more nutters/battlers is long overdue to put some back bone into the team and stop us getting rolled over like meek little tarts, as so often last season.

It also reminds me of the last time we signed an 'international centre half' who turned out to be Welsh . . .

What standards are those mate? Billy Jones has done fuck all since arriving here. Possibly one of the most over-rated players I've ever seen. Future England international, don't make me laugh Dario!! The boy is fuckin shite with a capital S. No pace and his passing is abysmal. I hope we get shut in the summer!

On the face of it 2 promising signings that will hopefully bring some much needed organisation, leadership and an improvement to what was a fucking shambolic back line last season. Competition for places and if SSL isn't right then he can warm the bench rather than looking disinterested / injured on the pitch. Try letting the new players pull the shirt on before slating them. 🙄

The signing of wayne brown today is a disgrace, this is the man who announced to the leicester changing room that he voted for a racist party. Keep in mind that in the changing room would have been players who will severly affected by bnp policies. This is not the type of player we need in our changing room.
