Jesus h christ....how many times did i tell people shaw ran pne the way he ran ribble valley shelving and that he was without ambition for either company, content merely to keep both ticking over
Blackppol and burnley fans must be laughing themselves silly at our plight and itas all down to pne fans not heeding warningsabout shaw that i,Voldemort and a small handful of others were begging to be heard
Talk about a voice crying alone in the wilderness

Can you just remind me of where we finished in the table in every season that D.S. was at the helm.

Can I also point out for you as you haven't visited Deepdale for a very long time, that the place has had a very significant makeover during the 'Shaw years'.
You probably wouldn't recognise it now that it's all been re-built.

You stay in the wilderness cock, where you rightly belong!

Yoga and Voldemort, there's a partnership people will be flocking to align themselves with...

Now then would you like to answer my question?
Can you list each season and the finishing league place under DS?

I can, but I can't be arsed.

The fact is, we celebrated no success whatsoever under Derek Shaw, and now he supports Everton apparently.

If it had been made clear that you wasn't welcome at the club you had supported all your life and a friend (Moyes in this case) offered you free tickets in another clubs Directors box (one that you considered your number two team) - would you not take up the offer as a football fan?

I might, but I wouldn't wear a fucking Everton top!!

It all depends on what you would call success, doesn't it. I would call a top ten finish of the second tier of English football successful.
As we achieved that in more seasons than not under DS then that to me is success. WDD.

Obviously now under the current regime we will be measuring success differently. 21st to me would be fantastic this season!

What i wouldn't give too see a live one to one after the 'pool v city game today....Voldemort in one chair, shaw in the other
Perhaps Voldemort could open up the questioning with "WELL DEREK,HOW ARE YOU FEELING ABOUT BLACKPOOLS OPENING START TO THE PREMIER LEAGUE SEASON AND PNEs SORRY SITUATION BY CONTRAST"
Blackpool of course with a far lesser fan base and less money to spend than even pne

Without ambition? He had the ambition to get the ground finished, which he achieved by sealing an imaginative deal with the NHS. Also, I don't see how you could accuse him of lack of ambition when he was borrowing money hand over fist from TJH to pay players the contracts they demanded to come to PNE in the hope that those players would get us to The Premiership. The fact is that this ambition should have been shown earlier, under Davies, but how do we know Hemmings would have lent the money at that time? Unfortunately, when the money was available, he put his trust in Irvine to sign players who would get us promoted. Having appointed the manager, he put his trust in him. As we know now, that trust was ill-founded. Shaw did a lot of good at PNE. He also made mistakes. But he didn't lack ambition.

Not welcome at the club? Where have you got this information from?

On a side note, I sense a Derek reaming coming on!

WELL DONE DEREK!

if he was at blackpool so what! at least he would have seen a team with passion, not like the shower of shite that turn out for preston. a load of fucking losers with a loser for a manager.

Derek quite rightly is not welcome in the Directors box, and Derek Shaw is well aware of the reasons why, however there is nothing stopping him putting his hand in his pocket and sitting the the stand with the rest of the supporters, or is Derek not that much of a fan anymore 😉

I personally don't give a toss what Derek does, as long as he stays away from the financial managment of PNE!

Well I bloody wouldn't. Call me greedy but when someone overspends to the tune of millions, nearly eradicating my club, I would have expected to be playing in the top flight!!!!

I actually see DS as someone who lined his own pockets at Deepdale before we had a lucky escape in getting shut of him! Everton are welcome to him.
