I just can't see us getting out of it!

I just can't see us getting out of it!

Was it me, or did Jon Parkin look like he couldnt be arsed yesterday? I thought Ian Hulme and Billy Jones were the best players on the pitch by a country mile and were badly let down by the other 8 outfield players.

I agree that Hume and Jones were the most passionate players on the pitch but I thought that Hume had his worst game for us. Several moves broke dowm because of his poor control but he wasn't helped by the lazy Parkin who is clearly just playing out his contract. Parkin has to be sold in January.

surf;1146613l so he then brings in Danny Pugh and Michael Toung players who will probably blowing our budget wide open again to give us that experince but they go back after the Watford game!. QUOTE said:
If we want to, we can extend the loans of Tonge, Pugh and De Laet. It is only Hume who has to go back after the 93 days.

Incidentally the 6th loanee, James, is out for another few weeks as he has not got over that ankle injury sustained at Burnley.

Only things I'll disagree with you about Steve are: questioning why Coutts wasn't on the bench. He's got a groin strain, missed the last three. And I think our defence is better with Brown in it, even if he's 74 and ridden with chickenpox.
Russell I'm struggling to see what he actually contributes - anyone who wears gloves with a short-sleeve shirt needs bombing out immediately.
Can't see us getting owt at Cardiff, likewise Watford.

parkin has been awful for some weeks now. if you watch him he is always on his heels which makes him to slow to react when we break. i say we bring back mellor.

What about the woeful service he received soon after kickoff when he should have netted? Parkin is absolutely rubbish. He only plays well once every 5 games. His touch is awful. How many times did he lose the ball yesterday trying something clever only to be found short of pace? Plenty of times. Get shut in January please.

Bad mistake not taking the 350K from Barnsley, his willingness to battle and fight rating is the same as his consistency in performance and his touch and decision making in how to play and keep the ball! IMO an absolute ZERO.

The players have lost all confidence.

Bring in a new manager and you will see a huge change in them for the better.

Having been around long enough to have seen some really shit North End sides, I've also witnessed several relegations. 🙁

The difference with this one is that it is a virtual certainty - and we're not even in December.

Thinking back to 81, 85 and 93 we were still in with a chance of staying up right til the death.

This time, we are dead and buried in November with even optimistic fans like Surf saying he can't see us getting out of the bottom three for the rest of the season.

A survival scrap can galvanise support but this isn't even going to be a fight - just one long funeral procession with an inevitable ending.🙁

The fact that a goalless draw with midtable Millwall is being seen as a 'good result' shows just how far we've fallen.

There is absolutely no way DF can keep us up; most fans can see that and even the manager himself looks like he knows it too.

But if they're not going to sack him now, what if they don't get shut in the Summer?

The longer DF stays, the worse our future is going to get.

The only thing that can save us is if he walks/is fired after this week's stuffing.

OK folks.

Just rang them on 0844 856 1964, asked them if Mr Ferguson had been sacked yet, they replied no, asked to speak to Mr Lindsay, he has someone with him (what a surprise).

Said I would ring back later or pop in and see him.

Time for some positive action.

Anyone else care to make there feelings known to them instead of whinging on here please feel free.
