The best 2 though IMO are Brysons overhead strike at Wembley and Rankines goal against Birmingham.

Yep, I would go with these too. My favourite goal, though not spectacular, was David Nugent at Ipswich away a few seasons ago. We won 0-4 and David Nugent took a bow in front of the Ipswich fans after his second. I just loved that moment, I don't know why but I watched that goal loads of times and laughed each time he took the bow.
 
In order to me that i've witnessed.

1 - Frank Worthington v Wolves (h)
2 - David Eyres away to Wigan, a Cartwright crossfield cross to the left wing and BANG!
3 - David Nugent v Derby (h) in the Play Offs.
4 - Brian Mooney v Mansfield (h), like jonny, i was in the West Stand Paddock that day.
5 - David Nugent v Southampton (h), a one two with Paddy with an audacious ending.
6 - Gary Parkinson rocket v Scum (h)
7 - David Nugent v Dingles (a), the end of a 3 man free kick routine, top corner.
8 - Ricardo Fuller v Dingles (h), his 1st as he avoids Mays attempt to chop him on the half way line and GOAL!
9 - Gary Parkinson v Man City (a), a Penalty but you had to be there to know how that 0 - 1 win felt.
10 - Russ Wilcox v Carlisle (a) FA Cup, 89th minute, your CB curls a beaut into the top corner to win.

Special mentions to Jonny Macken v City, Andy Saville away to Orient, Paddy v WBA, McKenna away to Stockport with the Scholes corner routine, Bryson at Wembley.

Many many nore that i could list. Good thread.

Eyres was at the Town End in a 4-0 win against Reading, Gregans was a bit of a fluke, although he meant it.

For me it's Macken, he saw Weaver slightly off his line, chested it down, turned and volleyed, I nearly made a mess in my pants.

I think Parkinsons 35 yard volley against the Lashers is worthy of a mention, Nogans lob at Burnley and Fullers wonder goal v Leicester.

That's for best goal, my favourite goal was Saville v Orient, where he shimmied and put the keeper on his arse before casually flicking it over his prone body.
 
Raynor v Torquay again for the moment rather than the goal

In my head I'm sure something by Jeff Wrightson or Gary Swann but my memory is blanking
 
Just watched budgierustler's link to you tube earlier on in the thread - PNE v Tranmere pitch invasion when we got promotion under big John. My mate and I jumped on JT as did half the paddock. Wonderful scenes wallowing in nostalgia!

correct against scarborough 5 4 victory ?? also the franky worthington goal v wolves these two along with the mooney head injury one are my favourites

Martin James at home to Crewe, circa '91, knocking one into the top corner from 25 yards to finish a move that started in our own half. Think we won 5-1.

Think I remember the James one, although I'm going for 5 nil. Someone slagged him off on here recently. He was quite a tidy footballer. Craig Hignett was the best player on the park in that game though, despite the scoreline.
It's Mooney v Mansfield for me though.
