Interesting, isn't it, how people routinely make jokes about Jesus Christ (His name regularly taken in vain as an exclamation of surprise/disagreement etc) and Christianity, without a thought of how it will deeply offend people Christians and yet, say equivalent things about the Prophet Elija Mohammed and Islam, and you're classed as a racist or an Islamaphobe and, certainly if said in the workplace, disciplinary action could result(rightly so of course).
