Cannot wait for Saturday.

Burnley only took 881 in a crowd of 4.5K.

Scunthorpe may only have 4k fans and we have got 3k tickets? I think we have sold about 1k already.

We can make it like a home game for the lads. Scunthorpe's away end can create a great noise and atmosphere.

I cannot understand why the club/manager via website lep/radio lancs don't do a last minute appeal to PNE fans to go. Your club needs you!!!! Surely with a big media push headed by Phil Brown and some players we could sell out. This is particularly so given that a win would lift us off the bottom and put a smile on everyone's face. If you know anyone at the club then please suggest a BIG push to sell out.

The game should be interesting tactically as the pitch is a quagmire down the middle. I think it is the narrowest pitch in the country to so, while it does not suit wingers, you cannot play through the middle. This is why the game v Burnley was a bore draw.

I think we should play 3-4-3 which Horton said we considered v Boro.

Also, we must play Hayes as he always played well there and will 'feel good' about himself. If he has support up front from Duke and Hume then it could be our best hope.

Just need to watch Forte as he has pace to burn, but then so does Lita.

Lets all get to Scunny and do our bit. Make the effort and take a friend or 6.

Thank you for pointing that out. Team Preston was a phrase coined by John Beck to emphasise that the opposition play the whole town and that everyone should get right behind the team in a very positive manner. Our new manager has some similarities to Beck. Importantly he wants everybody to be positive. That might be a little tricky for you though I do accept. Are you going?

Probably I will be going yes.

The problem here is that a large away following benefits the home team in gate receipts so the club does not want to be seen helping Scunthorpe who has made this a Category 1 fixture. What would help PNE supporters is free coaches, even if it increases the gate

I really wish I was going to this but my train back from London is at 9 at night.

Needless to say I'll be finding a boozer somewhere that is showing Soccer Saturday!
