Lindsay - We've shut shop

Lindsay - We've shut shop

This is total crap. About as bad as your pro Ferguson posts got Paolo.

1) Minor details? Failing to tie up contracts for senior players isn't a minor detail, it's a chairman's job.
2) BillyJones can't be that bad if Bristol are prepared to offer 500k for a player who's nearly out of contract.
3) I don't want a direct line to the club, I just want them to do their jobs better. The second Lindsay and Hemmings do somethingpositive I'm happy to give them credit for it. Getting Brown was great, not giving him enough cash makes that a bit pointless.
4) Your striker comparison is utter bollocks. Of all the strikers you mention the best partnership was clearly Hume and Parkin.
5) I disagree the club have done enough in this window to give us a decent fighting chance.
6) In terms of me not being listened to, the fact you've quoted me shows I am, you've just chosen to disagree.

Seriously, have you read this thread? People are starting to see through the Hemmings/Lindsay reign and that isn't anything to do with what I say, it's simply because the pair of them are letting down the new manager and it's clear as fucking day.

Parkin is the worst striker I've ever seen up front for North End. I am absolutely delighted to never have to see him in lilywhite again. Fat, slow, waste of space, liability, and the occasional lucky swing of the boot.
Bristol City's interest in Billy Jones does not really make him a hot property does it? Jones' all round game is strewn with errors and naive passes. He is not a threat to full backs. Hence not really one I'd be bothered to lose. Over rated.

I get the impression you see darkness on a sunny day when it comes to North End. I liked Ferguson. The team played some good stuff under him. They just couldn't defend.
Ian Ashbee, Ian Hume, Cort, Ellington, and getting Hayes back, plus keeping hold of the squad players is a good window for me.
Who do you want, Torres? If so, put your money where your mouth is and let's see you do a better job? What do you say?
So what if people see through the chairman? If you don't like it, don't buy a ticket, go somewhere else and find fault there. Otherwise you're just one disgruntled man with one disgruntled ticket.

Give Lindsay a chance, he has hardly warmed the seat! What about the several years of his pimpernel predecessor. Why has the subject only now arisen when Billy Jones has 6 months to go.

Fully agree regarding Jones but Parkin the worst striker we've had, come off it mate.

I liked Ferguson. .

I'm sorry, I thought we were having a serious debate here. If you're gonna make stupid comments like the above I'm just not playing.

Enjoy the season.
