The amount of negativity that is written on this forum is beyond a joke. People complaining about the fact we should have beaten barnsley tonight. A team that have lost only once at home in their last seven. People complaining about the managers tactics and choice of team selection. Four games into his reign and people are already turning against Phil Brown. I dont know what you people expect. Miracles spring to mind. Whoever expected us to beat barnsley tonight needs a reality check. The signings that phil brown has made will turn out to be wise ones. The least we could do as fans is give them a chance instead of writing them off before they have kicked a ball. Its about time that people got behind our club rather than slating every single player for their individual mistakes. Winning breeds confidence and confidence breeds winning. Until we as fans start getting behind our team, then we might aswell look forward to trips to exeter and swindon next season.
Reality Check
To be fair the 800 and odd fans that were at Barnsley tonight gave the players great backing from the first minute to the 94th.
If Brown has any sense he won't read this forum and should ban his players from doing so, as there is a lot of shit written on it that if a player were to read the crap and believe it then it could dent their confidence.
It's not the fact that we got beat against Barnsley, its the FACT that we played like a park team, a team that is already relegated, too many players hiding and not playing for the shirt. If they would have fought and at least strung 3 passes together, but still get beat then fair enough but they didn't.

couldn't agree more, ashbee looked like he needed a walking stick. it just looked like all the players were free rolling not knowing their positions. leon clarke was very disappointing. once again hume put 100 percent in.
