There are obviously a lot of problems with our team at the moment. I believe that the greatest drawback is the lack of confidence. We go behind to a stupid goal after 5 mins. and we appear to do everything but put the ball in the back of the net. Mclaughin gets injured and the heads drop and we are out of it.
Don't anyone tell me that we should be relegation fodder. We have the players and the experience to be a mid-table outfit.
Results and passion have been poor.
I thought that Saturdays match was a "must win". It was. Unless something changes drastically we are down.
I have seen some posts saying we should sack Brown. How purile. Ferguson did more damage to our club than most of us realise.
If we have any chance of staying up we should buy and not borrow.
I think there is an agenda going on behind the scenes-just wish I knew what it was.
For all the critics on this site the people that run this club are professionals and do what they do for a living. Who are we to question their integrity. We have to trust their decisions because I would hate to leave the club in the hands of Voldemort to mention just one.
We go down. Keep Brown. Clear out some deadwood. Get promoted and off we go again.

Thats what im hoping for mate...get rid of the OOC players and the so called good players and start from scratch.

1) Don't anyone tell me that we should be relegation fodder.

2) Ferguson did more damage to our club than most of us realise.

3) We go down. Keep Brown. Clear out some deadwood. Get promoted and off we go again.

1) I'll tell you we are were we are because we deserve to be. After twelve months of total incompetence from the previous manager it was always inevitable that we would end up in this position.

2) I agree, it's a pity most of you couldn't see what the odd one or two of us could. Instead of critisising the likes of myself and BSK for preaching what such a walking disaster he was, maybe you would of been better off opening your eyes to the 'annus horibilous' unfolding before you.

3) If only it were that simple. Bigger clubs than us have fallen from much higher than us in recent years and are yet to return. Unfortunately I foresee a few years of struggle before we get back to what we've been used to over the last decade. But hey, lets all Thank Darren for his efforts eh!

Brown signed an 18 month contract, this I think was done for two different scenarios:

- stay in the Championship and push for promotion to the Prem next season

or

- relegated to League 1 and push for promotion to the Championship next season

His objective is to be in promotion battle next season. If he can't manage that, it won't cost too much to pay him off.

I hope the powers that be do not do anything too hasty.

Possibly an 18 month start, with a rolling 12 month???
The damage was not all Fergies fault. Players worth money and players on big money went straight on the transfer list.
The damage was done when Billy Davies left the club. Everything after that, contributed to the demise. Unfortunately, we never made it to the promissed land. That would have been our saviour. Derek should have gone 'shit or bust'. He tried to be too cautious and failed. We then started to spiral, out of control, downwards.
Football manager is far easier than the real thing !
