Is Derek Shaw now a Toffee

Personally I would like to see him back supporting North End after all he was a fan when he stood on the terraces and we all know how difficult it is to give up on your team. He did his best but was found wanting but at least he did try (and ok he failed) - remember he is a LIFE Vice President of the club and should be allowed to feel he could come on Deepdale safely and without any worries for his and his family members safety.

I've heard it alleged he is not welcome at Deepdale and left under a cloud.

If Shaky is giving Shaw a defence it must be true 😉

I imagine there would not have been a lot of love lost in the takeover, much more for a rumour than "proctor came on instead of me" = training ground bust up

Are you still stalking Shaky ? i ask because this rumour has been on here several times yet you choose him to question , just ask him for a date . hey shaky can you save simon the hassle here and take him round today with you ? could be fun .

Nope nothing. I just noticed he'd disappeared off the VP list when someone talked about him being on games elsewhere a few weeks ago. Your quote is the first I've heard of anything to substantiate why that happened but looks to add up.

It makes the whole thing a lot sadder that a lifelong fan, for whatever reason, feels he is not welcome at Deepdale. Sounds like the Life VP was just a publicity stunt

To ensure he went quietly and didn't have all the millions of 'I LOVE DEREK' fans demonstrating outside the ground. Few will have noticed that he has lost his honory title and would just assume that he has personally decided to stay away.

..... so why did he leave "under a cloud"... what has he done to upset the great and the good at PNE towers? Did he nick TH stash of viagra or steal the toilet rolls from the staff loo... or did TH not realise he way paying DS £75k for part time hours?
