Risdale on Radio Lancs now

'Its a privilage to be here', and hopefully when i leave, the club will be in a better postion then when i came'!

The man who brought down the mighty Leeds Utd. He who dealt Cardiff fans another bad deal, but ultimately improved their lot.
The very same man who after bringing in the administrator to Plymouth actually became instrumental in saving the club.

Perhaps PNE are in dire fucking straits? Perhaps we have some dire business people to thank for that? Ridsdale is here for a reason. To save the club & move it forward. That's what the man specialises at. He happens to be quite good at it. The RED ADAIR of football.
We'd better get used to him. We'd better get used to the unpalatable medicine that we're going to have to swallow. It's just no good thinking that TH was ever going to put God knows how much more money into the club? It's no good thinking that there's some deluded fucking Arab billionaire coming to our rescue & take PNE into the Premier League. Ain't gonne happen. So let's be realistic shall we. Your's & my dreams are fucked. If you & I don't like it, so what? You think TH or PR are going to take notice of a small band of supporters

Thereby lies the truth, Im frightened to death of what is about to happen to our club, but thats the bottom line. Well said Metal.

Reading and listening to the many views from the Leeds, Cardiff and Plymouth fans, it seems they have a different opinion of Mr Ridsdale than yourself.

They could all be wrong of course, along with all the bad press about the guy and you could just be right, he's here to cure us! Dr Ridsdale - The Harold Shipman of football! RIP PNE.
 
All I know us that for ages, we've been moaning about what's happening at PNE - not enough noise from the owner/boardroom, unacceptable inactivity, etc.
Hopefully that won't happen now...who knows?

What happens may be good or bad, but I'm sure we're about to enter a period that no one is familiar with - lets hope it's good for us!
