It's all gone quiet over there!!

[bsk4ever]

If billy davies is coming back and its a big if, he will do a good job for us but he will be coming back just too put himself in the shop window. Waiting for a better offer to come along and he will be off quicker than a blackpool fan whipping off a donkeys knickers.

He'll only get a better offer with success at Deepdale so I can live with that 🙂

The reason no-one is saying much is because there is nothing new to add. 😉

I'll remain positive then mate! Or some people on here think I'm remaining delusional!!

Then why has brown in contention for the hartlepool job i am afraid managers get offers if they are good or bad.

He'll only get a better offer with success at Deepdale so I can live with that 🙂

Still laughing at that.

You still here ? 24 hrs ago you were touting your season ticket around as you'd had enough.

BD will rule himself out of the running by early next week is my prediction

[captain scrote]

It makes me wonder if someone has already been lined up but will only take charge after Saturday's game because its too short a period before that game. Also it would be disrespectful to the departing management team to announce someone so soon after their departure. Maybe this is why the chairman is confident about meeting with the fans next Wednesday evening😱

I posted a similar comment yesterday Joan. Perhaps great minds think alike otherwise we must be cynics!

Dont care if people think I'm nutty for clinging on to the idea of Billy Davies coming back. I'm hoping tonight to read a positive update or 2 from either theBigE or Bob Ross who's posts are generally 100%. That indeed despite all peoples comments Billy Davies will be coming back, and in turn the chance of going back up this season becomes possible again!!

[Tuesday Nights_]

I dont like seeing GREZZWORTH, albeit temporarily in charge they can hold the fort but when appointing a manager one will have to take lead and the other be assistant. so its either Grezza or Unsworth!

Not necessarily. Cast your mind back to the time when Alan Curbishley took over at Charlton. He was part of an equal double act with Steve Gritt. Such arrangements can't work long term and it wasn't long before the order established itself and Steve Gritt 'left'.

Can't see this double act of ours getting the role because we can't afford a 'trial period' of any kind. We need a 'proper' manager now. We are only five points away from the play-offs and the season is still alive with promotion attainable if the winning form returns PDQ.

A combination of the two Captain.
