deffo pen for me the guys next to us are doing the commentary. not sure barton is right decision we've sank deeper since he came on
 
in your view he aint good.give the lad a chance.he has suffered undewr 2 crap managers.the jad has size and lots of potential.these lads are our future and we need to get behind them

To be fair, Barton has been largely ineffective wherever he's been asked to play.
I think he has potential, but he seems to approach each pass/tackle/run with such a carefree/uninterested attitude. Doesn't go down well with most folks...unless you happen to be world class 🙂

I think you're right.
Although Barton is playing quite high up the pitch, it looks like Hume will be chasing a lot of long hopeful balls 🙁

It doesn't look like there's much faith in Tsoumu.

We have started to defend deeper and there is little or no support for Hume, who is obviously not fully fit he is not harrying and chasing defenders down as usual. But 1 up at half time, will take that at full time. Come on you Whites. 😀
 
Done well to finish the half ahead.
Need more of the confidence we showed early in the first half though - we were more than matching these guys!
 
Coming back to the Mellor substitution. It looked to me like he asked to come off, was told to stay on, and then just sat down and refused to carry. on.

A blistering start - we could have been two or three up and I thought it was a penalty. We have been outmuscled repeatedly in midfield, though, and need to find a way of keeping possession more. Mayor should play a bit more central - he is not really effective way out wide and that would also help provide a bit more support for Hume. Barton has looked good - he has put himself about and even held the ball up once or twice.
 
Wow we actually seem to be defending,think our passing needs some work though,can't seem to string 2 passes together.

Mayor did all the damage from a wide position in the first ten minutes. I don't think Barton has contributed much yet, so we might as well have gone with Tsoumu.
