Superb fighting performance. The defence was heroic. We could have done with a bit more muscle in midfield and were were obviously poor upfront with Hume obviously well short of match fitness and Tsoumou looking poor. But great team spirit and a great result.

Great result that however lets face it MK Dons are prob best team in the Div but were off form today and we have some very poor players at the club Barton should be dropped
and Tsumuuuuuuu??????? What a joke player thanks Phill worst striker ever at the club....

Positives....The Goaly Morgan and coutts looks a good spine build your team arround them 3 we obv need more quality players...Mayor looks ok as does Grey the defence ironically looks ok now we still need better midfield players on the ball and another striker with pace that said

Great effort today great result well done GA & DU

Their manager very, very sour after the game - I don't blame him too much tbh.
However, they were unbeaten @ home and we did what was needed to change that,

Reminded me a little of how we played under Davies...

Superb result, a very promising performance, possibly the best defensive performance of the season and a return of £255 at the bookies.

Happy days!

A fighting performance by all. Credit to all the players and the new management team. Okay they were on top for most of the game but we defended like heroes and had the better chances overall. Thought their players were too free to use their elbows at time - the challenge on barton IMO was disgusting.

Steve smith, considering he has hardly played was superb ,a s was the rest of the backline and the keeper .
Coutts , superb .
Adam Barton , just what does he do ?

Barton played well. He was involved and when he got possession he was one of few players on our side who were prepared to control and keep possession. He made a real contribution to that result.

This suggests we do better when I do not post updates. 😱

Anyway, the timing of this one rather did for me after hardly sleeping last night, but what news to log on to, excellent.

Maybe there is no need to feel too disheartened at the prospect of the long trip up the M6 next Monday for the Carlisle game.

Fine early Christmas present.

This was a gutsy performance against a team that previously lost only 3 or 4 games previously. Not getting carried away, but away performances like this are testament to a good unit. Preston put the Proud back in PP tonight. Well done Grezza, Unsy & the whole team. 😀

PS What a goal. 😀
PPS. Get Stuckman in on a permanent deal. The lad is class. Very commanding & assured.

Thought Doyle was superb , how many important tackles does that man get in ? He is the player Ashbee was supposed to be !

That is one fine keeper by the way, every keeper makes slight gaffs which don't cost in a game but he did the important things well and i liked the way he gee'd the boys up in the tunnel on the way out.
A very confident keeper who knows his stuff, if PNE don't sign him on a long deal it will be a huge mistake and i mean like DO IT BEFORE THE NEXT GAME!!

Smith
Doyle
Coutts
Morgan

Were awesome
I thought Hume was shit but going to put that down to lack of match fitness .
