I was waiting for the team sheet more than anything with this match. As soon as it came out it was proof that PB had got it wrong.
He had failed for weeks to play the strongest players in there correct positions and defended doing it.
Not bothered who comes in as long as he uses the squad correctly.
Pity we got a couple of knocks and bookings as we'll have to change again next week. Very positive attitude from the staff and players. Top stuff.

No mate. You have to concede that North End's defence was totally unbreachable tonight. They played like Trrojans & when the keeper was called upon, he had it spot on. Sometimes you have to defend & PNE got it absolutely spot on. Come on mate be fair.
Hartlepool never happened because it was only attended by 250 die-hards. Play well on live tv though and everything is well in the world.

We were fucking awful when it came to keeping the ball, but we hit the post twice and their only chances came from free kicks. Excellent defensive efforts from the whole team. Tsoumou's touch was disappointing to say the least. Spellchecker seems to want to call him titmouse for some reason and I think a titmouse would have done better with the chance he had.
However, to lose Mellor, who was key to our game plan and still come away with a win was excellent. Well done North End.

I quite agree. I watched the second half (only with one eye for fear of going blind) and I thought you were very poor. I can't understand why there's so much excitement on here tonight.
