Just back and for the first time in a....

The negativity is because we were under constant pressure after Mellor went off. Mellor was looking superb - a great pass to Coutts who hit the post. He gained possession twice by out-muscling their centre half who couldn't cope with him. It would have been a totally different performance if Mellor had stayed on.

A great defensive performance though. Only 5 conceded in the last 9 matches!

Their shouldnt be any negativity FGS we just went and beat 3rd in the league who have been unbeaten at home for 8 months you will always be under the Cosh in away games the massive positive is the fact we kept a clean sheet and fought for it with pride passion and determination to win.

I really think coming over and clapping and clenching fists with fans is ESSENTIAL. I hate it when players walk a cursory 10 paces over the half way line and clap the fans, hands above heads so that they can be seen in the distance!

These fans pay their wages, and have forked out a fortune to travel and support... and win, lose or draw, the footballers should have the common decency to thank the supporters properly.

Of course, you need an intelligent/hardworking manager... but this aspect is simple, and if they do it, they garner more POSITIVE support... which does make a difference.[/QUOTE] by regardless.

Totally agree with this comment. I like to see a good celebration after a goal has been scored {but not over the top} and I always look at the body language of players. It's a good measure of who REALLY wants to be part of the Club.
