Before 5pm on Saturday, everyone (bar the odd few) was drooling over the prospect of Billy Davies.
It now seems that a scrappy 1-0 win against MK Dons has turned everyone into suddenly wanting either Unsworth or Alexander at the helm?
Why? Because the players looked like they were playing for them. In reality, the players were just playing in a formation and role that seemed natural to every single one of them. Left footers on the left, right footers on the right etc. This is why we won. We have one of the best teams in this division, we should win most games with our strongest 11.
If Billy came in, he'd no doubt be forced to keep Unsworth, and I can imagine him employing Alexander as a coach because they got on well last time. It seems 1 result, a 1-0 win, has made everyone turn there back on the greatest manager we've had since Moyes, of which there have been a number.
Lets be rational here, Davies has the ability to take us back up, we've no idea about the ability of Unsworth or Alexander just yet, and this isn't the time to be taking risks.
