Come back to me when Phil Brown has put three struggling clubs into the play-offs.
Fair play Hull was a tough task, but Derby, PNE and Forest were all equally as hard.

Forest and Derby spent big!
Conversely, Brown, Irvine and Simpson were failures because they were poor managers not because they were promoted from outside the club.Peters, Moyes and Davies were successes because they were good managers, not because they were promoted from within.
He has taken three different Championship clubs to the play offs, one of them twice. How many others can say that?
So have Cardiff, Ipswich, Middlesbrough, Leicester, and Bristol City.
What's your point?
Forest and Derby spent big!
So did Alan Irvine compared to any other PNE manager. And when we somehow made it into the Play Offs we were outclassed home and away.
I don't want him, I seriously dislike him.
It is much easier with money and Billy had it. Phil Brown took Hull up and kept them there. Good manager?

Totally unkown quantities when appointed.

Is there any evidence at all that Billy can function at a club where he will have to sell sell and sell and will have severe restrictions on wages and transfer fees?
