That was brilliant, if not a little wet.

I was in the main stand with the missus, but got escorted out to the Preston end when the natives got restless.

Correct took me about 2 days to dry out. Fantastic day though. They weren't happy with us on the way out that time either, could be a tasty Boxing Day and thats even before I polish off another turkey dinner!

I often stayed off the game in them days so I'm shit at recalling the scores and stuff, but I do remember me and our kid having to pretend to be a barman at a pub when the police came in during the game looking for PNE fans.

Question for you lot re: parking. Is it segregated? Being from the real city, just want to know if away supporters parking is behind the end we'll be in. Also, how much is Ridsdale going to fleece us for parking at Deepdale? Do you have a separate secure area for supercars...mine's a Maserati...away from the Clios etc?

I was up in Carlisle today, drove past BP, it hasn't changed much since we were last at the same level. Which ends will you give us when we play you on that Tuesday night game?

Yes, behind the away end / their new stand, it was like a building / tipping site full of half bricks.

We made it to my car in full piece!

Got the video of that game, I can be seen in my Royal Mail waterproof looking rather uncool at the front of the away end but also rather dry, my hair apart! 😀

A story I have heard is that "Englands Number One" wasn't enthralled about a meeting on the train with a certain DD way back when!
 
Er...what's Callon? Have only ever passed through on the train or whizzed past Preston so am unfamiliar with your town. So is the away parking behind the away end or what?
