Daley

Daley

Example of the money wasted by PB - why couldn't he sign players who could compete at this level from day one - the PB legacy will cost us with the excuses for footballers that he bought to the club.

He's fit but he's shit!

How many minutes have you seen him play to base your negative opinion on?

To be fair I didn't understand the hero worshipping he was getting on here after a trick or 2 at Morecambe. I saw him Vs Wigan and he did nothing, didn't even attempt to get a cross in. I doubt we'll see much of him before he's binned off. Hope I'm wrong.

Didn't know about that. Did he flick the V's at the home or away fans? I knew he was a bad lad, but it seems a bit early, even for a foreign.

Daley may eventually turn out to be a decent winger at this level, but he has done little to deserve the crowd singing his name prior to him coming on today. For me he looked half-hearted and bar one run that ended with a low ball into Jervis' feet, he offered little. He is not going to be the saviour of our team in the short term, and we won't really see what he has to offer until we put out a team that is capable of winning the central midfield battle. The jury is still out on him at the moment, and I would still pick Mayor ahead of him for the time being.

little do people realise, Daley was a semi pro in jamaica, so he wouldnt have been training to a massive intensity...he will take a season to adapt to the training, never mind conditions/weather.

He's in Jamaica national team, okay they are not the best international team ever but its some achievement, and i reckon he has a lot more to give when he is fully fit and beaming with confidence

How long does it take a player to get fit?
Anyone?

If this is tue then I feel more than a little foolish at the amount of joy I expressed at his signing. Oh dear.

k

how was he anyway for the 15 mins today?

look any fitter?

never touched the ball for the first 5 - chasing shadows for the next 5 - started to get going in the last 5 having a bit of the ball - it wasn't the warmest days for him and I did notice he kept running into the channels where the sun was still shining😉
