Apart from a couple of ten minute spells that was absolutely awful!

He insists on playing people out of position, he gave a 17 year old his debut, played him out of position and had such a feckin flat set up in midfield that the lad was isolated and outnumbered by a diagonal pass on three occasions in the first ten minutes.

To be fair to him he did finally realise this and made a change with jack king going forward which gave the midfield a bit more depth, however his use of substitutes, Beavon and Garner on with 7 minutes left was just potty!

The wide players have to try and beat a man because we don't commit to the sort of movement which allows a pass to beat the opponent. Monskana needs dropping, for fecks sake just put Beavon out wide right you southern tool!

The back four are so flat footed that teams have the confidence to cut inside and play across the front of them. Do some work on lateral movement and foot speed you tit! Why do our defenders and midfielders show the player the inside? Take them away from goal - it is so basic.

We got lucky that the 17 year old lad Davies played two fabulous balls which created the goals, that aside we were shite! Nothing has changed. I will support anybody who manages Preston North End but I can't help thinking another manager with a more consistent approach to team selection would probably get more out of these players.

Just garbage!

It wasn't the best but to say it was awful, I disagree.

You just moaned about people being out of position and then you say play Beavon right wing!

Westley's a gambler. His gamble has failed, and he is trying to steal back his stake with cockles and twine, posing as a stone mason from Wessex.

Well we don't like stone masons, and we DON'T LIKE QUEERS.

That's why I feel Westley is better off making bread in a bakery. A back street bakery...

Reflect we go 2.1 down and could easily have folded. Credit to the lads confidence is low but they worked hard and I take that as a positive.
Credit also to the crowd we still have left who stayed with the team.
Oh and the pitch wasnt as bad as it looked, played ok.

Three things
1. Beavon has played in midfield for most of his career!
2. If you haven't got room for him up front at least get him on the pitch.
3. He would do a better job than Monakana - IMO.

It wasn't the best but to say it was awful, I disagree.

So what was not awful?

The nice passing? The movement off the ball? The solid looking defence? The attacking options we create? The wing play?

It was dreadful again. Thanks to Stuckmann we were still in the game after 10mins.

Just because we got a draw people seem to be happy with that and failing to see the absolute garbage we had to watch again. It was so clear the defenders were told to hoof it.

Disgusting

Don't get your logic. You complain about Davies being played out of position yet credit him with contributing to both our goals. Not great today, but a big improvement.

Beavon by the way didn't come on it was Buchanan. His replacement, Cummins, was probably MOM.

So we were shite, lucky, and garbage.

Bollocks!

We were shite in the first half and unlucky in the second. Could have and should have won.

REALLY !! Thanks to stuckmann for a point, even westley was happy with the point ffs

I understand what you are saying about Davies, to clarify I think he shows promise but was left isolated far too often in an unfamiliar role on debut. Good when we were in possession - hence the two quality balls, but left exposed when Cov had the ball.
As for Beavon not coming on, sorry forgot!
I would have had king or holmes as MOM because even though they make mistakes they at least appear to play with a modicum of sporting intelligence.

Yes we utilised the position of goalie exceptionally well in the first half, or to put it another way he made some mighty fine saves!

I did say we were shite in the first half, but now that you have brought up Stuckers' performance (which was exceptional) I think the average team performance must go up to reasonable!

Thanks for pointing it out.

We had 3 shots on target today.

2 went in.

Progress?

Perhaps.

At least

I wasnt bored today.

I think the expectation that we are going to progress from the Walsall and Doncaster performances to the kind of displays we saw against Swindon and Stevenage is unrealistic. Confidence at home is absolutely shot, but I think we saw glimpses in the second half of belief returning. People quickly forget the football payed in the two matches I've mentioned showed real promise. I think the team are capable of returning to that level, but it's going to take patience.

Dont think I needed to point out that stuckmann got us that point, every1 knows ffs 🙂

Suspect a lot of frustrated fans are strugging to be objective at the mo, Mersey. For me you ust have to look at our home form. Deepdale used to be a fortress and we even performed pretty well at home when we were sliding down the Championship table. Now we are getting outplayed week week because we have signed a load of shite and Graham is used a bingo machine to pick his side each week
