Moderator Approval for a Post????

I'm guessing you're on about the Ginnelly post? Too sensitive to get wrong and could get the site in hot water.

Agree the mods should send a PM clarifying the decision.

In regards to that specific thread it was deleted as incorrect with the OP contacted with an explanation..

I mentioned that I was selling my car, looked at the rules and couldn't see anything saying not allowed but it has disappeared
If against the rules fair enough, but to delete it without explanation is not the way.

The forum has always been add free both in terms of commercial or small adds from users.

Jakehake has posted a link to the guidelines.

The only exceptions to this is if its mutually beneficial to our forum users and permission has been granted.

There is no hard and fast rule about sending a PM to explain a deleted post although you should have recived a little notifcation to explain. So apologies if this wasn't the case.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse but I still stand by the above, however click on 'terms and rules' at the bottom of the page and there doesn't appear to be a rule 12!
