This isnā€™t aimed at you mate but after saying the club are looking at several positions weā€˜ve signed 2 CBs and a winger, itā€™s all a bit disappointing.

Typical North End with underwhelming business.

Only a fool would let these signings gloss over the ineptitude of ANā€™s tactics. Another six months spent getting the defence back to not conceding whilst we donā€™t create anything going forward is ok for you then?

Two first team midfielders as well though. I dunno, not that underwhelmed. The loss of Davies is massive

Yeah, it was only confirmed on SSN as J King seems to have been pissing about deciding to go to Everton. It will be a 1 o clocker

Chuffed with Whiteman, Molumby and Gordon but two of them are only here until the end of the season and Iā€™ve written this season off already tbh.

Weā€™ve lost the best player weā€™ve had for the last 10 years, our best defender for the last 15 years and the best RB weā€™ve had for 10 years and not replaced him.

We also signed a past it, morally questionable (being kind) League One striker on loan who wonā€™t play.

Totally agree apart from Fisher, thought he was shite to be honest!

I think underwhelming is quite apt. When all said and done we've brought in 1 player who's hardly kicked a ball in a year and 2 kids with very minimal if any first team football. Big gamble and one which we just have to hope pays off.

Ever the pessimist that I am, it's not got me excited about the weekend.

Iversen a plus as well but heā€™s only here until the end of the season as well

Iverson,Whiteman and Molumby look decent Mate

Definitely not replaced Davies with todayā€™s signings.

Fisher not replaced.

Stockley replaced with a striker that wonā€™t play.

Nugent not replaced.

Ridsdale said weā€™d be just as strong if not stronger.....

At least there's been some effort to cover some positions with the loans that have been made. But still leaves a big job coming up in the summer. Hopefully some life left in the season yet but it's going to take a team of strangers to click into gear and for alex to give it a bit of a go.
