Flags for Deepdale 2022/2023 - PNE Online supporting North End Soul
We have now ordered and paid for Deepdale's giant 3m x 3m waver flags with quality fibreglass telescopic poles.
The PNE signed shirt auction is still ongoing
However, we wanted to ensure they arrived in time for the new season.
You can still donate https://gofundme.com/f/deepdaleflags
We have also ordered & paid for our 50 bespoke 1.6m x 1.6m wavers from our partners at @FootballFlags, again to ensure we have them intime for the new season.
We have also ordered for 1000 1m x 1m wavers. When we said we wanted create a sea of flags we meant it. Once the proceeds are received from @pnefc shirt auction we will be able to complete this order with the flags arriving before the Hull game.

What a brilliant effort this all has been. Seriously looking forward to seeing them introduced for the Hull game.
Might get my life back at some point.
Poor old @pnegsd isn't coping very well with the pressure 😅

"We'd love to get these beauties out on a regular basis" . Are you allowed to say that?? 😂
Remember when someone’s Mum had to take the cub/school kits home to wash….
Have you checked @pnegsd has a big enough washing machine to keep them all sparkly and white?

It's in the small print on the Town End season ticket - everyone washes 1 each 😉Remember when someone’s Mum had to take the cub/school kits home to wash….

...we're gonna need more bins...

Quite possibly waiting to hear from Preston City Council on the wheelie bin front too.
Need to source some poles for the 1000 wavers at the moment.
I am in discussions with PAR to try and see if they can help but I'm not that hopeful.
If not it will be old school bamboo 🙂

I think PAR have blown their sponsorship budget. I asked them to stick a fiver in on the football card of my Sunday team and they've blanked me 🤣Quite possibly waiting to hear from Preston City Council on the wheelie bin front too.

This is going to have one hell of an impact.
I mean 16 3x3m flags are bloody massive alone.
Assuming the kop is open against Hull then between that and the Town End it will look brilliant.
Even 1mx1m flags are big buggers.
I hope PNE realise just how much effort is going into this and the difference it will make.

Have done.
Alan Browne made a lovely donation but none of the others as far as I am aware.
Would be nice if someone other than the forum account badgered them a bit.

It’s all good, we’re getting cheer leaders to do that. 😉This is all sounding so so good... as long as there's not a proposal to have people poised at the Town End, waiting just behind the goals to raise choreographed huge flags when a goal is scored (like Arsenal do, for example). That looks so false and regimented... not passionate.
The Flag donation page closes on Sunday 8pm. We've been asked by those who can't afford to take part in the shirt auction if they could still make a small donation.
We've put target to see just how close to 4k we can get.
