You mean 'on trial' like Wickham and Brown were last summer?
No. like those players Ryan Lowe, brings in to train with the squad, to have a look at them and decide if it's worth pursuing

Sunderland will be hoping to be back in prem in few seasons or soYeah but if Sunderland are in for him as well, he’s probably going there, isn’t he? Even though they’ve just come up, we’re not as big a draw as them.
Edited for a accuracy. It’s a non-starter, we won’t pay the transfer fee and we can’t afford his wages - The player however has come out and said he'll walk to Preston and play for free if necessary as it's always been his ambition to play for one of the worlds greatest clubs.
I put quite a lot of trust in what the Bristol City fan said when he came on here about a week ago…. He said that Wells was still a class act ..Not sure how anyone could even complain at Wells. Alongside Riis and Archer/prem loan, it would be a more than good enough frontline.

You're getting confused with the little fella in The Man With The Golden Gun.FUCK Nikky nahki whatever the fuck he's called wells
Ffs nobbers
You should really be more decisive at that age mate.I rate Wells, but at 32 i'm just unsure.
Its his age that bugs me. 32 now and will want a 2 year deal minimum on £20k a week. Is a player that couldn't get in Bristol City's side last season really good enough to come here and be our top earner?
We defo went down - we had him and Paul Hayes I think!Against Millwall did we go down can't remember
Brady does not have the pace or athleticism to play LWB in Lowe's system. Anyway we already have a back up/filler in Cunningham. We need a first choice LWB not another filler. He wouldn't get into the midfield either. When are we going to stop bringing in players that either don't match the role and/or the criteria of that roleMaybe that's where Lowe's sudden exclamation that 2 x LWBs are needed has come from.
Fancies Brady but doesn't have guarantees he can stay fit.
Yeah and me - assuming not stupid wages. I'd have preferred Gray but got to be realistic, we've had very poor inexperienced strikers in recent yearsPersonally think Wells would be a very good signing. Don’t understand the negativity around him.
No he doesn't.....fit. Brady does not have the pace or athleticism to play LWB in Lowe's system. Anyway we already have a back up/filler in Cunningham. We need a first choice LWB not another filler. He wouldn't get into the midfield either. When are we going to stop bringing in players that either don't match the role and/or the criteria of that role. If can afford to bring in players to fill all the gaps we need and still afford to bring someone in more for his off the field experience then fair enough. We don't seem to follow a particular model, but Ryan Lowe has in the past mentioned that he would quite like some players who had 'been there and done it' in the division.
In which case, Brady would fit.
As long as everyone was happy with the medical and he performed to the capabilities everyone knows he has in pre-season, I wouldn't be against giving him a one-year deal (providing we signed another LWB too...). But that's just me.
There's a reason he's cheap and willing, this has Ridsdale written all over it........Smacks of same old, same old....Brady is one of the most injury prone players we could find. In a position that we have zero strength in depth at. But he's cheap and willing.
It's such a complete contrast to last summer.So... Just catching up with today's exciting transfer developments...
Basically we're only going to sign players for free and who have zero interest from elsewhere, yes?
It's such a complete contrast to last summer.
Rest them on a skateboard.I'm looking forward to that happening..............
Actually, at my age, I've got to be careful they don't drag on the floor. Talk about nuclear fallout.
