Matchday Thread Cardiff City v PNE -10/02/24 - KO:3PM - Championship

Didn't sound like it was a great game but away from home it's the result that matters, not the performance. Just need to build on this now with a couple of results next week.

As comfortable away win we have had all season.

Two really well worked goals & played with plenty of confidence once Riis scored.

Mention to Mads who just has something doesn't he?

Glad he is being allowed to show it.

Much much better.

Excellent win today. Who played RWB , when Potts went off injured & does anyone know what type of injury Potts has got.

Probably almost the perfect away performance, soak up a bit of pressure then counter attack with two good goals . Then keep going forward rather than sitting back at last Lowe seems to be learning.
The injuries put a damper on the day especially at RWB look like a hamstring so Potts might be out a while still we’ve got some great cover in that position haven’t we 🥴😱.

Excellent result - the three points and we saw out the match. Not an intense contest but on a wet afternoon in South Wales it doesn't need to be. Now let's look to make Wednesday more exciting.

Not a great game by the sound of it on radio but doesn't matter its a win which we wanted to carry on from last week. Plus he played the same team which was about time he did. Good win.

Our best performance since the start of season run. We were reminiscent of that period in the way we controlled the game with good quality possession.
We looked confident again today - like we may be on a run. Middlesbrough and Rovers will be the proof of that of course, but they’re both beatable.
