Matchday Thread PNE v Hull City - 02/03/24 - KO:3PM - Championship

[Fluffs]

Storey putting in some great blocks so far

[cragtek]

I have rarely seen a game quite as entertaining as this

100%, very grateful to see this kind of football after the pragmatic sludge we've sat through over the past few years. Massive improvement in entertainment value.

[Bobbage]

Good all-Irish tussle out on that right hand side with Alan Browne battling well against Phil O'Gene

[LostinSpace]

Good game this, can see both sides scoring a few

Me too, I predicted 2-2.

[Longshanks]

Ebbing and flowing, Hull ever so slightly playing better.

[cragtek]

This ref seems to not care about anything. Kind of like it tbh!

[Harry]

Should've been a corner... ah well

*Stoke 1-0 Middlesbrough

[jcpne]

Even so far but Hull just looking slightly more dangerous. First goal crucial.

[cragtek]

Liking our defensive movement. Can see Hull causing us a problem on an overloaded counter, but when we match them up 1:1 we're great at closing off the passing angles.

[LeePNE]

Agree with this

Even so far but Hull just looking slightly more dangerous. First goal crucial.

[Longshanks]

Starting to lose the one on one battles. Come on North End.

[Walmer88]

It gets even worse for Blackburn…lol, a point outside the drop zone as it stands.

[Pne_Gaz]

Ball has stopped falling to us and starting for them

[jcpne]

Ali Mccan is class.

[Sid Snot]

Some fuckin' tackle and pass out left by McCann.

[Harry]

Brilliant by Mccan
