Matchday Thread PNE v Huddersfield Town - 9/4/24 - KO:7.45pm - Championship

Just got home. The best thing about watching Ossie score his hatrick is that he celebrates every goal like he's just won the league.

Absolutely love that enthusiasm

[Doyler]

He looks a completely different player

He’s always been a fantastic footballer. We saw it last season. The stick he got this season quite frankly made me embarrassed to be a North End fan at times.

To keep going, increase performance levels, and not bite back shows his experience and professionalism. I’m buzzing for him.

[Grezzaball]

Osmajic is incredible 😍 😍 😍

[Seamustasmania]

That's the only contender I can think of and I was there but I don't think Godfrey managed it quite that quickly. BBC website says Osmajic is the only player in all four divisions to score a hat-trick this season after coming on as a sub.

I was there too.. greenhalgh got another?

[Gerona]

Always nice to beat Huddersfield. I remember the bricks lobbed at us from the back of the open end at Leeds rd as a teenager.

[Rankine]

Still in it, fantastic from Magic......If he gets the service he will score

[Sid Snot]

And (typical North End) both ended up at Villa 😉

A lot of that came from me, too. How wrong has he proved me, been so impressed with him recently.

Scorers were Hannigan 3, Godfrey 3, Greenhalgh 2, Lawton.

I'll be honest a fair amount of shade came from me too.

Slice of humble pie here please

[Farmboy]

Shame about the 4th one, ballsed up my prediction score 🤬

Who the fuck was Alice?

He actually looks like an International player at the moment….I don’t think he’s been at this level with us before.

[OB1]

Milly coming on for Riis🙄

We’re not scoring again tonight.

Ahh PL. Love your work 🤣

[northend nevets]

Who the fuck was Alice?

Shit thought I got there quick enough 🤣🤣

[JK]

Season looked completely gone after a sluggish first half in which Uddersfield deservedly led & Norwich 2-0 up.

A Brilliant hat trick later from Milly, great cameo by Browne (pay him what he wants) a solid display by Holmes & Brady top class again

Norwich draw.

Season alive (just). 👌

I had the right score
Scorer and attendance.
Just forgot to post it.

[Warton PNE]

I’m not putting much emphasis on Norwich.

We’ve been in this position many times previously and they’ve let me down.

Just need to enjoy the ride and get behind the boys on Saturday.

[OB1]

Nobody saw that result coming on 75 minutes

[Mexico Man]

John Thomas got one in 1987 but I think his took about 10/12 minutes v Halifax….
