He’s so soft. He’s absolutely pathetic on crosses, his distribution is poor and he doesn’t command his box well at all.

He's had a very average season, let in plenty at his near post and not commanding enough on set plays.

There’s normally lots of negative comments about the commentary but Matthew Upson is very good. I’m surprised he’s doing this because he normally does Radio 5.

Yeah, this season not his finest hour. Replaceable for sure, especially given he's one of our top earners.
