Confirmed Alfie Devine signs!! 5 year permanent contract

His levels of effort are absolutely nowhere near those of a professional Championship footballer at the moment. Seems to be here for a few quid and an easy ride judging by his recent performances. Probably has a relegation release clause so doesn't care.

Grezza needs to give him a mighty kick up the arse to get off FIFA Ultimate Team or whatever he's doing and get some extra work in on the training pitch. He's supposed to be a talismanic young midfielder, not blowing out of his arse limply chasing after loose balls.

Starting to look very much like the clubs paid a lot of cash for a new version of Darren Carter 🫣🫣

Witnessed maybe one or two half hearted attempts to close down last night, passes to the opposition and out of play. Seems to have become a bigger player in his own mind than what he is producing, his value to the side is very much diminished and just on last nights performance he should struggle to make the subs bench, whilst Moran definitely deserves a starting berth now.

So this just showed up on my Youtube feed.
Might explain why Alfie hasn't been up to the same standards as last season 😁

Huge pressure rightly or wrongly to play him every week regardless of form when he’s cost so much

But this is the ideal opportunity to leave him out on Saturday and give Moran a run of games

Has not done enough to be starting every week regardless

That just shows how unfit some of them are…

I reckon Alexander and Lucketti are working them hard in training and some of them aren’t used to it…
I got that vibe between the lines from a couple of the player interviews. A lot of "uh, yeah, it's different", which means they all probably hate it.

Needs doing though, got to pay back that fitness debt before we can compete.

Shambolic that Hecky seems to have let it slide to that point.

Posts like this probably don't exactly calm that speculation

Side note: what is it with modern footballers 'subtweeting' like teenage girls?
