There didn't seem to be all that many Forest fans there. Whole blocks of seats empty.

In a big stadium that number looks much smaller than it would at Deepdale.

May not be the topic of this thread, but how many fans did we actually take down last night?

988.

So I am informed.

the_pieman_com_ · Mar 4, 2009

988 according to the PTID - great turnout for a Tuesday Night game.
Nottingham isn't exactly on our doorstep is it - 134 miles my Satnav had it at😱

Thats much more than i expected, i expected around 700 as i was told only 600 had been sold up until Monday lunch time.

It looked half of that. But then in a stadium that looks almost empty with over 16,000 attending 988 is probably the right figure.

As it was possible to pay on the turnstile, our southernmost supporters probably took advantage and swelled the numbers who had bought tickets. Plus there would have been those who were unable for other reasons to get to the ticket office.

Did they have their own Mr.T shouting at him "Get some Nuts" too?

Maybe that would have been a good idea.

There was only 600 odd tickets sold, but a fair few turned up to pay on the day.

The hair was the only thing to get him noticed a usual a nothing performance from Simon.

Just what we have become used to over the last few seasons.

Would be shocked if Al keeps him on any retained list at the end of the season.
