Surely better the player and the club was to keep playing him? That season Fuller broke down at Coventry and Healy took over only to then got dropped by Brown and loaned out. So instead of Healy we had Cresswell combined with Lynch, Abbot, Big George and Mark Jackson (who I saw play for Lancaster the other week).

The season after, Fuller scored at West Ham in January and then scored zilch until the last day of the season. Was he loaned out? Healy scored a fair few more goals than Fuller that year yet he found himself third choice again the next season and like I said, was having to compete with Smith, Lynch, Abbot etc even after Fuller had left.

No wonder he left.

Absolutely, imagine being rated a lesser player than Balsa Boy? It used to do my head in how Broon persevered with the useless c u n t.

I wouldn't have mind if he had masterminded the victory but we practically gave them 3 points. You could tell it was a BD team with the sneaky time wasting tactics of sending the subbed player to the corner of the pitch. Everybody but the ref saw it last night.

I can remember him slagging-off the Derby Players to the Press , about 3-months in - saying they 'lacked effort' .

I can never forgive him for his tactics and team selection that night.

He dropped a player who played well at Elland Road (for "disciplinary reasons" I think) - as if those really , really matter when it's such an important, one-off game.

And then he puts 4 - (or was it 5 ?) forwards onto the pitch at the same time. Blackwells defensive & midfield thugs steamed through them.

Then there is his absence, 15 minutes before k.o. He was in the Club Offices.
FACT.
I was there. Every other manager would be in the middle of an important pep-talk.

I was behind that goal that day. He slowed up. He could have got a touch. That was all that was needed...................................................................................... FACT.

He waved & clapped the Leeds Fans while wearing the shirt of PNE, at Deepdale...FACT.

He made statements about the quality of the Elland Road Dressing Rooms........... FACT.

BTW I'm quite aware that the latter is actually only my opinion, unlike some wannabes on here who speak drivel and then claim it's a fact.
Fact is Davies insulted our club on a regular basis and was a PR disaster, and that was while we employed him.
Some can worship his supposed miracle working abilities but fact is he's no match in the hearts of PNE fans compared to Moyes, Peters or McGrath. Proper managers who would never sell out our club for their own gain. FACT
