Thor you do come across as right dick brain most of the time, but today my friend i have to fully agree with you. Sedgwick looked like a clumbsy div 2 player today.

Sedgwick played well today.

Did his usual job of doing the work of two men, kept posession well, worked well with Williamson in the first half and put in a few decent crosses. He's no world beater but he's the best right sided midfielder we have and Billy Jones would seriously miss having him in front of him if he was replaced with someone like Whaley.
 
Sedgwick today ? Do I really need to comment ! A complete and utter joke. HIs automatic selection tells me that Irvine is nowhere near the manager we all thought he was.

Sedgwick today was the personification of ineptness and Elliott for all his running about like a busy bee wasn't far behind.

Sorry but he did'nt. He did'nt keep posession well, I suggest you re watch the game. He gave the ball away more times than he kept it. The statement about him doing the job of two men is laughable.

Sadly Whaley is not the answer as he is currently either not interested or lacking in confidence.

Don't get me wrong he played the odd stray ball and ran into trouble at times but he's a Championship footballer, most of the time though he played the simple balls, invited defenders on to him, won corners and throw ins and put in a couple of crosses. I'm not much of a fan of Segdwick myself but out of what we have then that right side of midfield is his, hands down.

Also Sedgwick is easily one of the hardest working players in the league, closes down people in the oppositions half and legs it back to do the same in ours, he does that all game, week in, week out. He's no Lionel Messi but anyone who has his work ethic and commitment never deserves to be labelled an embarassment.
