Must admit, I was equally surprised the LEP missed it.

I have sent a note to the Sports section of LEP earlier this evening, even gave them the web page with the info on. Did this via the "Contact Us" tab on the LEP website. Stated that I was disappointed nothing had been said in the LEP as yet, and asked that maybe it be included in tomorrow's paper. Others may like to do the same in order to drive the point home!

Surely it's down to North End to publicise this offer, not the LEP to do it for them. PNE just aren't that quick off the mark when it comes to proactively promoting the club.

Agreed. But maybe the club DID tell the LEP! LEP editors then choose what news to print, and not publishing the news is no fault of PNE if they did tell the LEP. Also, by the very fact they published the details on a public news site that the LEP should be watching means they have told them, albeit in a round about way.

No harm in us letting the LEP know as well though. Afterall, we the fans are part of the 'PNE Family' so should be doing all we can to publicize the club.

I rang radio Lancs at 6.30pm last night as I was shocked it had not been mentioned, told them about the offer, they mentioned it at 6.58pm....I thought maybe Ben Rhodes would have been on live pushing our change of form, the QPR game, and as a gesture of goodwill the mad march offer.UNBELIEVABLE.

Have to say that you can't blame the LEP or RL for not putting anything out unless of course PNE have finally done some decent PR and actually told them about the offer and the length it will apply. I think this is just another case of the marketing people not doing their job - they should be shouting this from the rooftops to ensure as many people as possible know about it. Perhaps they think everyone in Preston reads their website or is on their email list - well I have news for them - they don't

But the LEP and RL should check the PNE websites as a matter of routine. It's their job ffs! It is also 'easy journalism' in that the media don't have too much work to do in order to obtain the information. This may suggest it is the fault of the media rather than PNE. Why didn't they check the website? It's not as if they don't know the site exists! And if they did check, why didn't they publish what would be good news to many of their readers?

Sorry to disagree but I believe it's the clubs responsibility to notify the people of Preston through whatever means are available and if that means putting pressure on the LEP and RL then so be it. It's not the job of these two organisations to go looking for FREE advertising but it sure is PNE's

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but has there been a chance to buy tickets since Mad March ended, at full whack?

If so, I suspect those people that have done so will be pretty pissed at this!

Don't make a difference to me, like, I got mine when I got my Charlton ticket.

They've not been on sale at full price. I went in just before easter and was told they weren't on sale at all.
