I felt sorry for Lindsay, as much as I can for someone paid thousands a week to play football. He’s clearly not up to it but he’s continually picked when there’s other perfectly reasonable options.
The substitutions also changed the momentum totally, he’ll talk about managing minutes etc but that doesn’t change the fact our threat almost evaporated - and Lang was totally ineffective again.

A genuinely good performance. Deserved more.
However, you seriously handicap yourself by selecting Liam Lindsay. Since 2021 I have told this forum repeatedly, often with backlash, that he isn’t good enough. The majority finally came round to my way of thinking in 2024/25, and now I would say it’s 100% who know he isn’t good enough.
The manager selects him. Jordan Storey is slightly less shit, just play him instead. Fuck sake.

I think most fans came of more surprised we lost, we played well for so much of the game, booing doesn’t help, those that did play well hear it and I don’t imagine it motivates them in any way
Just hoping that the 70 odd minutes we did play well continues into Saturday and we can pick up from there, that said it’s near impossible not to see the demise of our manager, a win rate so low makes his position untenable

It’s at least one huge error per game at the moment from Lindsay, how on earth are Storey and Offiah both sat on the bench while he starts?

That's 2 more than he deserves. Tonight it was obvious that his choice for rcb was not capable of playing the formation or position. I can give him that we have no replacements for the loss of 4 strikers and with only a young loanee replacement resulted in no goals from the numerous chances created by Mills, but playing Lindsay there tonight cost us the chance of any points and should result in his removal.

To be fair Edgy, I thought the fans really got behind the players today. Ultimately this group of players never fails in finding a way to throw points away.
And then, by consistently selecting Liam Lindsay, it’s as if the manager wants to lose the games.
Any decent manager would have taken him out of the firing line well before tonight after his recent displays .Hecky must be some sort of sadist to keep picking him .This is the manager though who over the last 2 seasons has been saying he doesnt need replacing??

Agree with every word though I don’t feel sorry for Liam.
He knows his strengths and countless weaknesses yet he still does the same thing over and over.

It is on Hecky though as he keeps playing him and for that reason alone he needs binning off despite us playing so well.
