Fair point mate & don't necessarily disagree. Only points I'd add were that during that time the rest if the team weren't exactly pulling up trees either... & he wasn't always playing in his best position like he is now. But clear hus performances have hit another level this season. Very Important player

Get his contract extended promptly. They’ll be a lot of other sides looking at him if we don’t. Fantastic season. Who’s to say he wasn’t carrying an injury last season. This season he has been one (if not the ) most reliable and influential midfielders in the division. The goal and his contribution y’day would grace any Premier League team

I still think we will finish mid table, but hey, I hoe I’m very wrong. The bloke is playing fantastically and put 100% in for the whole game. It means everything to him. His reaction when they equalised said it all.
Get him signed up. (Hope you’re right there Rob 🙏🙏🙏)

First and foremost, it‘s the run that makes the goal (although both Potts and Browne still had a fair bit to do!)

I was surprised on my morning run with Tyson Fury today to see that they’ve already put a statue up dedicated to Alan. Most impressive.

He's definitely staying as he was "patting the badge"? That's a new one. Players do that every 5 minutes these days. Means nothing.

FWIW I think he will sign a new deal.
