Tickets Birmingham away.

I really don't understand the uproar over £35 tickets. We have parts of our ground that are £32 and £34 don't we, and away fans are £30. So the uproar is over the cost of a pint these days.

I thought it was steep tbf but on reflection not too bad

Just booked two coach tkts (moorbrook)
Two safe standing tkts

It’s cost us £59 per person

Given the fact that there is a £30 cap for away fans in the Premier League it is ridiculous that we are expected to pay £5 more for a second tier football match.

Also it is worth noting, we charged Brum fans £28 - so it is actually £7 more for our supporters.

It may be the price of a pint for some but for others, especially families it soon adds up.

It may be the way it is but it doesn't mean it is right.

We know what to do when they visit us next season now. Is it the same price for all visiting fans? If so, there's probably nothing we can do about it.

If folk pay the £35 it will be £40 next season.

It's not really ridiculous though, because the TV money shortfall in our league compared to the prem is extremely vast. As a standalone thing of the championship costing more than the prem, then yes, obviously that's daft - but you are intelligent enough to know that there's a lot more at play in pricing at our level.

PS JK - yes, totally understand about families, but that is the same for anything, anywhere. I'm not saying general pricing is "right" but the overall picture means these are the prices that clubs need to charge. HOPEFULLY with all the ffp stuff, we're closer than ever to the bubble bursting and getting sensible pricing and sensible wages back into the game!

It’s not just about Families it’s about not getting ripped off. Fans aren’t stupid and we won’t be shafted by greedy clubs. They can Fk off instead and I’ll be going boozer. And no I won’t spend the same amount there.

Your call, but I'd think about what you're normally willing to pay and then think about how much extra it is. Think about how much that really adds to the day overall and whether you want to miss out. If you're not willing to go above £30, you won't see many games. I get it's a lot of money, so I just choose a few aways per season. However, even at a tenner, I'd still only be able to choose a few because of fuel/transport costs. The ticket price being a few quid over what's reasonable doesn't actually add much to the cost of the day.

You can make that argument about any commodity. They’ve added £7 compared PNE prices which isn’t a huge percentage compared ro the full day’s costs. So suck it up? what if it were £8? It’s only another pound. What about 9? £10? £11? £15? It’s way too much. Having said that, I did buy one!

Yep, everything is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it! I thought football was pricey until a friend told me she had paid £600 for two Taylor Swift tickets....... I bought two season tickets for that..... supply and demand I guess. some will question who got best value for money😉

With inflation the way it's been - PNE prices haven't been in line.
I'd be expecting ours to go up for the next season.
