Exiled Nobber

As I am currently unable to post on the main forum, read or send any personal messages, this was the only place I could write this today.

I spoke to Stuart through this site on the main forum and in private for years. He was genuinely one of the most decent people you could hope to speak to. So positive, funny, clever and had such great morals. He spoke so highly of others and occasionally, in private, we chatted about his ongoing condition. I am truly gutted to read that the world has lost such a great guy, may he be at peace now with no more pain or worries and may his loved ones take comfort in the fact that they were part of his life and shared memories.

Sleep well Boltons1,

Nobber x

After saying I'm not going on there again after deleting my account I've been back the past couple of days trawling through all the lovely posts about our friend Stu.

Having known Stu for the best part of 15 years I can honestly say you wouldn't have met many more caring, honest and genuine people. A pleasure to call a friend for many years and have played with and managed at the supporters team, with Stu meeting his wife Kelly on an infamous train for us back from Charlton in 2009.

I've dug through the archives and turns out the last goals he scored for the Supporters Team was a hat-trick in a 6-1 win. The perfect sign off, albeit far too soon on his playing days.

There's not been many days recently when I've not thought about Stu and Kelly and his little girl and what more we could have done as a team to support them through the past few years. Needless to say, we'll be doing all we can going forward to remember Stu in the best possible way we can and hope we can give him the send off he deserves tomorrow afternoon.

RIP Stuart, from all of us at the Supporters Team past and present. You'll be missed by us all, but we won't let you be forgotten.

I only met Stuart a few times whilst playing and training for the online games. He came across very well and was a decent footballer too. Much much too young. RIP chap and thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.
