Just to make it absolutely clear this is just a rumour I heard whilst talking with some very well off brothers. (Supermarket, Petrol stations etc)

I say rumour it was more a discussion about the disaster at Preston.

Now someone on here may have more information, it maybe being kept quiet until the season is over as these deals take time.

There is supposedly an offer on the table to purchase PNE from Hemmings and the IOM group. However there seems to be a counter offer of a % sale as Craig is a fan of the club and wants to keep his Family name involved with the club.

As far as what was said the Alleged people/group who have made the offer want to take full control.

Hopefully someone in the know will have more information.

Allegedly the offer made was around 30mill, apparently the IOM value the club over double that, closer to 60mill.

Personally don't subscribe to the idea that the Hemmings are philanthropic fans who want to do the right thing by PNE and the people of Preston.
Hemmings did put in money over the many years. From the 1970's. But it was never enough to actually improve the Club when it was in League Division Two. The most successful League season was of course 1963-64 - I think that was before Hemmings's time. PNE have never finished higher than that since. Simply two Play-Off Finals & Idk what he invested during that period.

He also was involved with Chorley FC for quite some time. (Hemmings)

I can't offer anything else really as this was just a casual conversation regarding local football clubs and current positions.

We even talked about the failed merger of Oldham, Rochdale and bury which was mentioned briefly back in the late 90's early 00's

In a perfect world and this will rustle a few feathers, the brief mention of a merger of Preston, Blackburn, Blackpool was mentioned as a Lancashire FC, this was of course in jest and humour with a caveat of underlying "in a perfect world"

It was a business conversation, mergers happen across all businesses but football has so far managed to evade the capitalists and ever growing late stage capitalism.

Either way major changes are needed at deepdale and if there is any truth in a takeover, it won't be long until it's out in the open as the season concludes soon.

Big potential in America for Preston and the marketing that could come with being apart of something.

Maybe sedge will have some more information, he's normally itk

Sounds more like Moshin & Zuba Issa
But they've fallen out - so probably Rollocks.

Not fallen out, I can't divulge anything really but things happen especially when one is allegedly neuro divergent and one is neuro typical.
More likely to buy T'Rovers anyway!!
If they ever reconcile.
BTW
Even the Hemmings aren't stupid enough to value a relegation threatened championship Club @ 60 million, when they can save that in 5 years by not putting that amount in!!

I say allegedly Just to protect the forum from any litigation, those who know, know

Are these the ASDA owners?

16.5 mill x 3.75 = 61mill.

Club was valued at 50mill in 2020?

Surely any valuation by the IOM group and Hemmings is to be negotiated down any way.

The club have been pretty silent regarding any investment, IE pitch, players, training ground etc. season tickets staying the same price.

Here's hoping that someone else knows more,

We have to find at least 7-9 players at the end of the season l, during the transfer window, without significant investment, How'd you suppose they're going to pull that off?

Or to hypothesise, why not sell for a nominal value, if they can attract investment for say a 5 year period of at least or more than there investment - and save themselves 60 million or so!
Even if said investors can't afford to do that & pay them a significant sum.

Anyway if it is the Darwinisters they can leverage it - like they did the ASDA deal.
Sell off a few more forecourts and Convenience stores!!!

Is not the brothers, they've got an interest in Blackburn rovers potentially, however they have other businesses to attend to first and foremost.

They're just aware of a bid that has gone in for consideration.

I don't know why they don't put the club up for a reasonable price like you have said, they've already done alright off the back of the club (ingol) etc.

lets hope there is some truth to this and it can give us the fans something to be positive about after years of being the poor cousins

They said the same last time it came round to people buying season tickets.

There were #RiddyLeaks to Nixon about Miami and to the LEP about one from Europe. It's all fake divide and conquer tactics to distract from another absolutely horseshit end to the season.

Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.
