Enough is enough!

Enough is enough!

28 pages in—and it’s never been clearer. We’re not alone. We’re not overreacting. The anger, frustration, and heartbreak we’re all feeling proves one thing: this club still means everything to us.

Since I made that original post, things have only gone from bad to worse. One win in 14. Three points from relegation. A team sleepwalking towards disaster while the leadership either can’t—or won’t—do what’s needed.

Let me say this plainly: my opinion has only been reinforced. This isn’t just a bad run. This is a club in crisis. And if we don’t act, if we don’t apply real pressure, we risk sleepwalking into League One.

So what do we do now?

1. Unite. We need every North Ender pulling in the same direction. Set aside petty divisions—this is bigger than egos or grudges. The club is on the line.

2. Be visible. Protest at the final home game. Before, during, and after. Banners, chants, leaflets—whatever it takes to show the owners and the cameras that we won’t accept this silence and apathy any longer.

3. Demand leadership change. Ridsdale’s time is up. He’s overseen decline, confusion, and zero ambition. Whether it’s poor recruitment, poor communication, or poor results—it all leads back to him. We need a clean break.

4. Pressure the owners to sell or commit. Either invest properly and communicate a vision, or move aside and let people who actually care take the reins. We won’t tolerate ghost-ownership anymore.

5. Keep the pressure on. Social media, local media, national press—make noise. The more people talk, the harder it becomes for them to ignore us.

We all love this club. And that love is exactly why we have to stand up now. Not just to save our season—but to save our soul.

Because Preston North End belongs to the fans.

And we are DONE being taken for granted.

Can we drop the sleepwalking, this has been our direction for years and we are all aware of it and have been complicit in the direction of Ridsfail and the ownership regime.

Having dragged my good lady of 40 years to Hull and back for our annual 'choose a PNE away trip' weekend, and having witnessed yet another flaccid display on the pitch (and afterwards towards The Gentry).

Has anything changed? No! It's actually got worse! It took my wife to point out 'you've no connection with any of these players'... wow, she's right! Not one. I harp on about Sean Gregan but now my potential hero offerings are Whiteman (not captain material in any way), Mads (inconsistent and can't be bothered), Thor (predictable and rarely out of 3rd gear), etc, etc. The only Blood/Sweat/Tears merchants in the current squad are Ledson (on his way out), Osmajic (prone to stupidity) and Evans (on his way out... and reprehensible previous character anyway)

I really hope we drag ourselves over the line and PH (if he stays) is allowed to ignite the bomb and start to bring in some character and players with fight and passion for our beloved club

Agree about the former character thing about Evans. I know you said he's on his way out, but do we have any clue yet whether the club are finally getting rid? It's seemed like they'll do anything to keep him the last couple of seasons.
