I'm just wondering which MOD is the gutless wonder who closed a perfectly valid bump which has subsequently opened a valid debate.

Obviously I have received no explanation either via PM or within the thread -

as to why this was closed.

I now fully expect this thread to be closed or removed without an explanation, cowardly cowardly custards hiding behind a 'green' badge.

Resurrecting old threads is generally frowned upon on any forum, it's both annoying and confusing for the posters. I didn't lock (right) said thread, but I agree with the action. BTW, I did move this thread into ff&h.

I agree Al, I think any thread that is a year old should be locked if it's resurrected. Let's hope there are no double standards though and selective posters are allowed to bump, while others are not.

Well almost 24 hours on and still no MOD prepared to take responsibility for locking the thread.

AL/Prestonsg - please do not try and fob me off with that 'bumping old threads is frowned upon' bullshit when you were quite happy for DannyPNE7 to bump his own 'Colye vs Irvine' thread as a gloating exercise.

It's good you've reconfirmed most people's opinions of this forum that unless you spend 24 hours a day on here, have multiple thousands of posts and attend various forum related social events your posts are treated as that of a second class citizen.
