Here's one that I don't think has been mentioned yet - Cresswell away at Leicester in 2004 - I wasn't there but just had a very vague memory of a photo of him celebrating in Match magazine!

I was also trying to think of recent hatricks at Deepdale for the away teams - just off the top of my head now I remember Crouch getting one against us in the league cup, & then Eoin Doyle in his prolific Chesterfield days. Any others this century?

Adam Idah for then PL Norwich City in the FA Cup 3rd Round in 2020 - only his 3rd senior game.

He's been rather less than prolific for Norwich in the subsequent 4 years but is currently on loan at Celtic, where he's scored 6 in 9.

Wasn't one of his goals due to a goalkeeper errors either way I thought at the time he will go far don't know how much he has done since only heard of him few times over the years.

I believe he stood trial but was acquitted.

Indeed, it was why he started in pro Football so late. Took about 4 years to sort out. He ended up at Exeter in about 1993 and was seeing a girl I was sharing a house with at the time. Shared a good few brews with him as we were both dragging ourselves to work/training of a morning!! Decent sort.
