With all the new rules in place, could we have a sub-forum where the mods name and shame people.

I've been on a few forums where this is done and it seems to help people understand why people get infractions or why people are suspended.

It also allows for an open system, where people can discuss these infraction points, so that a fairer system can be brought in.
 
I have also seen this done on other forums and it can bring clarity and understanding as to why people end up getting banned.

Sometimes there is a perception that users are banned for a minor offence. In reality, the truth is that it is several offences combined that have caused the ban rather than just the last minor offence.

Exactly. The clarity it brings to a forum does help the mods. People don't go off on one, when they here someone is banned/suspended etc.

I agree with you mike, it sounds a good idea.
 
I guess another way would be fore users infraction status to show on forum posts. The only trouble with that is that there would be some users who revel in earning a 'bad boy' tag thinking it's some badge of honour!
 
I guess this isn't going to happen then due to the lack of mod responses. Would be nice to know how suggestions are going, rather than leaving us not knowing.
