Not expecting anything today. We’ve been really poor for two games for a multitude of reasons and Hull are a very good outfit, especially away from home. Always struggle with McBurnie, Millar is a threat, Gelhardt always plays well against us

Obviously they still can’t defend but given how handicapped our attacking players have become at Deepdale I’m not convinced we can threaten that

Expectations are sadly low for me. Storey has a hell of a job on his hands to prove he can be that anchor CB against a big, strong striker like McBurnie, after Agyemang flattened him for the goal on Saturday.
Especially since Offiah dominating Agyemang whenever he drifted out wide means clubs will keep their centre forwards focused on Storey so he’ll get no respite

Not at all confident but we MUST win this with two very difficult away games to follow
COYW. Put the effort and passion in and please please play on the front door, using the pace we have available.

The main issue was Agyemang was so much quicker than storey so he was having to get really tight so that he wasn't able to turn and start running. Offiah is quick enough to match nearly all strikers. They won't have this issue with Mcburnie.

We will play 5 across the back 2 deep lying midfielders 2 in front and 1 up top, we will allow them to have more possession, defend the nil and try to catch them on the break. Because we are at home

Wasn't pace flattening Storey for the goal though. I remain worried about the pure physical battle.

Who else have we got to play in the middle. Storey is physically the best option. Gibson is most likely to be on the left if Hughes is still out and Lindsay, despite his size, has been bullied by a number of strikers this year.

It's not a suggestion to replace him tonight, just an expression that I'm concerned that it will go poorly! It's a big audition for him to have this role longer term.

We'll lose this and the slide to mid table will begin. Just don't see us maintaining our league position after recent performances and weakening of the squad overall this month.
Agree completely. We have been clinging on to a play off place for a number of games. The cracks are there to see coupled with other teams strengthening I can only see a mid table finish.
