Some Thoughts

Heard Millar may be injured. No sign of him amongst the training photos

He's had a lot of travelling and may have been given an extra day off. Lowe did hint at that in this week's interviews without naming players

Millar played last 10 minutes of Canada game and then with time delay probably only got the plane yesterday……I’m really hoping he isn’t injured but I’m almost certain he won’t start anyway due to travelling.

Had this thought the other day, not too relevant to this thread, other than a thought, so if we're just kicking stuff around . . .

Could Luton's promotion have been the impetus for ownership to become more involved in the transfer market and the loosening of the purse strings? Even taking a cynical view . . . A £10-15M investment now with Prem £ next year and a parachute payment of ~£80M? the following year makes for a nice bottom line in 25-26.

Of course, I prefer to think of it as getting serious about promotion and staying up.

The only thought that should be going through peoples head is ‘thank god international football is over and proper football is back.’ That is until 5 tomorrow and we have got battered 3-0.
I’m looking forward to the day out, win , lose or draw…..

I better get my thermal undies on though…

As for Millar again there is a player there but I am not certain what the best way might be to utilise him - I wasn't suggesting he could be a central midfield ball-winner because his tackling is poor but as a sort of attacking wildcard option he might be effective. For what it is worth played wide he is probably better on the right than the left .
That would be a good thing if he can play on the right wing. I don't think he's played there for PNE , (but certainly he could have for his other clubs. ) From what he's said in his PNE interview, he prefers to play as a conventional winger, but knows & is okay with being picked very often to played deeper, as the LWB. It could be interesting to know the relevant stats for his appearances.
Along with Mads, there's some foundation in those "he needs to up his tackling side" accusations, but 'poor' is a bit harsh on him. Sure, 'room for improvement'.
All in all, I reckon he's been brought up to bolster the LHS, surely?
I dunno about him being equally two footed - hey, here's hoping .

Good idea.

My game tomorrow doesn’t kick off until 1935 in Glasgow - gives me chance to
get plenty of single malt on board first though!
Now there's a thought , i could stick some of my Glenfiddich into my hip flask , job done !!
